One Day Maintenance Class is Coming Soon!

 One day Maintenance Class $ 150.00 per person

The One Day Maintenance class is approximately a six hour course. It will be held on Sundays during the months of January & February in our Service Department. The class is designed to educate anyone interested in proper bicycle maintenance. Emphasis will be placed on adjustments and proper lubrication of brake and derailleur systems. This class might be an option for someone who has tried some basic bicycle repairs. The student should have some familiarity with the topics presented but not necessarily have experience. There are no prerequisites for this class. You will need to bring in your own bike and be prepared to get dirty during the “hands on” portion of the class. None of the bicycles components will be pulled completely apart. The class professors will be using our shop bike for demonstrations.          

The class is limited to 6 students. We offer a 10% discount on tools and lubes immediately following the class (in stock items only). Class comes with a half hour lunch break that includes pizza and drinks provided free by Grove Street Bicycles. Students will receive a FREE copy of the Park Blue Book of Bicycle Maintenance. Anyone interested must enroll in person, by phone, or email. Payment must be made in advance. Students are asked to arrive 10 minutes before start of class.
