All bicycles purchased from Grove Street Bicycles come fully assembled with a lifetime of free service, which includes basic brake and gear adjustments, chain lube, and safety check to the original owner. The day you buy your bicycle, you receive a 10 percent discount on in-stock accessories and a 15 percent discount on helmets—all with no installation costs.
From Specialized bikes to car racks from Thule, we’ve got you covered. We have a great selection of parts and accessories, and we sell the most extensive selection in the BMX market. We stock clothing and shoes to suit all your needs. If we don’t have what you’re looking for in the shop that day, we can special order items for you. Just ask for more details!
Because we’re located in Jersey City’s Urban Enterprise Zone, all merchandise has only a 3.5 percent sales tax. Seven percent sales tax still applies for labor.
Services
The service department at Grove Street Bicycles handles all your maintenance needs. Our mechanics have more than 30 years of experience repairing bikes. We offer reasonable service rates and work quickly: basic repairs are done while you wait, and more extensive repairs are completed within days. We carry the tools and lubricants you’d need if you want to fix your bike yourself, and we offer maintenance classes—including a free flat repair class on Saturdays.
Need a place to store your bike? Grove Street Bicycles has a secure storage facility for long-term sleepovers, onsite bicycle parking, and a pick-up and delivery service in Jersey City.
Special programs
Grove Street Bicycles has a free 90-day layaway program for new bicycle purchases. Secure any bike with a 25 percent deposit and we’ll keep it safe and sound.
If you’ve outgrown your old bike, we’ll take it! Donate any used bike and receive a $25 credit toward purchasing a new one. We refurbish used bikes and donate them to charity.
