Rodney Morweiser, Owner and Partner
Rodney is a co-owner of Grove Street Bicycles who has over 25 years experience in the bicycle industry. He has become known as one of the most legendary mechanics in the central Jersey area. He is also a reputable salesman, here at Grove Street Bicycles.
He got his start when he lived around the corner from Cy’s Cycle Center in Middlesex, NJ. Seeing riders in the area all the time sparked his interest, especially in BMX Freestyle biking. Rodney first got into BMX through a local rider by the name of Brett Middaugh.
Rodney has a few bikes that he rides consistently. He has a custom FBM BMX bike, a custom FBM Sword fixed gear, both with a custom paint job, and a Masi Cyclocross CX single speed for his daily ride to work.
The ride Rodney loves the most is the one he is currently on, whether he is cranking around Jersey City or hitting one of the skateparks. Occasionally, he will spend sometime in a parking lot riding flatland with Louis.
Rodney is originally from Middlesex, New Jersey and now lives in Bayonne. He is married with two boys, AJ and Justin, who also share his passion for riding. His wife and older son both work for the store.
